1993 Volvo 240 Station Wagon. This is the very last of year of the great 240 Volvo. This is your chance to own a car that is going UP in value instead of down. Almost every part that normlly wears out on a 240 has been replaced. Parts include motor and transmission mounts, all front and rear oil seals, all belts including timing belt, brake master cylinder, brake pads and rotors, radiator, suspension bushings and exhaust system. The services are up to date. This very high quality car is equipped with heated power mirrors, power windows, and power door locks. The present owner is a Volvo repair shop owner whose mission is to ready the car for many years use as we progress through the 21th century. It has always been a Southern car and was obviously well cared for, and is totally rust free. It was a great car to start with, and now is ready for many years use in the future. The body is very straight. The original paint shines brightly. The tan seats have been freshly recovered with proper factory Volvo matterial, and the seat foam is new. The seats sit well and are properly firm with working lumbar adjustments. As a 93, it is one of the last three years of 240 production which means that it has an air bag, anti lock brakes, and the upgraded R134 freon Air Conditioner which uses a larger evaporator than the earlier Volvos. The a/c blows cold and doesn't leak freon. The paint is a very special color only used on the last few 240 Volvos produced. I am very proud of this car and very satisfied with the refurbishment I have done to it. It will serve it's new owner for many years to come. This Volvo 240 has such a classic look and stands out in a sea of gray cars with its retro vibe. The body is in excellent shape with the exception of a slight ding on the rear door. Paint appears to be original and in fantastic shape as it still has its natural good-quality sheen. Clean engine. Interior is clean and comfortable. Accessories are operational. A/C and heat are good. Service completed. Fuel tank, battery, all belts, and windshield wipers were replaced with brand new ones in 2018. New distributor cap, rotor, and spark plugs. New fuel filter. I purchased this wagon from a lady in the SF Bay area back in 2015, she owned it since 2007. I looked for a long time for a white or silver wagon slick top (no rack-big headlight, push button AC) in original condition. I had a pristine 1985 Volvo wagon that a another driver ran a stop sign when the sun was in my eyes and totaled it. State Farm gave me $3500 for that car. Ran a Carfax on this Volvo and it's entire life been in California. I believe I am the 4th owner. Clean title, original paint wagon. Blue Interior in decent shape. Tags up in April and we have driven it to 279,100 currently....If you want a nice original Volvo 245, here it is...Sorry, I am an Ebayer with a great record but have never sold a car on eBay..so I'm giving you what I know....All features work, lights, wipers, heat, def, door locks, power windows and Michelin tires...AC is cool not cold, could use shocks....I'm very busy during the week so I can't play 20 questions and will not entertain low ball offers...
